userXpress documentation

Connect to SAP, find users and carry out administration tasks across systems and clients.

Applies to userXpress 1.9.5.50

On this page

userXpress brings users and roles from connected SAP systems into a shared workspace. Each account still belongs to a specific system and client. Check those columns before applying a change.

Start here

  1. Connect to a SAP system.
  2. Find and select users.
  3. Open the task you need from the navigation.

You need access to userXpress and a SAP account authorized for the operation in each target client. Seeing a user in a table does not grant permission to change that user.

Understand the workspace

The Control Panel manages connections and AutoStart systems. The Global User Table contains accounts from connected clients. The Global Role Table contains roles from those clients.

A filtered table and a selection are different: a filter controls what you see; selected rows identify the accounts on which an action operates. Changes can succeed in one client and fail in another. Review the results for each target.

The main Help button opens this documentation in your browser and needs internet access. Mass User Create → Help → View Help opens the Mass User Create guide. If your installed version opens a local help window instead, you can use this website directly. The separate account-list batch-creation and SNC help windows open locally in the application.

The user and role tables share the workspace with connection controls.
