Message online users

Find online users and send a SAP GUI message to the selected accounts.

Applies to userXpress 1.9.5.50

Online information reflects the sessions reported by the connected SAP systems. A user may have more than one session, and the state can change while you work.

Send a message

  1. Filter the Online column in the Global User Table.
  2. Select the intended users and check their systems and clients.
  3. Right-click and choose Send GUI Message.
  4. Enter the message within the limit shown by the dialog.
  5. Choose OK and review the result.

Keep messages brief and avoid sensitive account information. A successful send operation is not proof that the recipient read the message.

If the action fails, check that the user still has an applicable session and inspect the returned SAP message. Report persistent failures with the affected system/client and the time of the attempt.
